Anna Gale

Anna's first postcard references her frustration at lockdown, but how she can see a way out of the crisis through positive thinking. Pared back, she uses muted colours, reminiscent of nature. In her second, Anna makes a valid point of the intimidatory stance and positioning of these murals and many like them across the country. Anna ends her observations with reference to the many people of the area who went to work, lived and played in the streets and got on with life as best they could, despite the Troubles.
